Nail Gun Safety
This is Rob McManhon for Expert Village. The important thing to keep in mind when using a nail gun is safety. Now if you go by everything the noise, the compressor, the noise of the gun, you want to wear ear protection and safety glasses in case a nail splinters or a piece of wood chips off and comes flying at you. So we'll go with both of these. The other thing you want to keep in mind is were you have your fingers because this is a gun. You can hold that nose piece back and pull the trigger and it would shoot a nail that would go through a piece of Sheetrock. So when you are holding a board don't have your fingers close to here. If you are toeing don't have your hand on the other side here. Keep your hand as far away as possible. If you are through nailing you want to be careful how you are holding it also. You don't want to have your hand holding it like this. You'll get your board lined up with your mark and you keep your hand in a safe distance. Now watch I'm going to miss intentionally here.
