How to Choose the Right Nail & Set the Depth Gauge for the Nail Gun
This is Rob McManhon for Expert Village. If you are using narrower stock - this is ¾ and an inch thick, you want to use your narrower nails. Now this is the type of material that you would use for doing trim. Now you would put it over your rough framing and fire in. Now depending on whether you are going to fill your nails or not, you are going to want to use your depth adjustment. You can see how far this went. With the shorter nails you want to have less steps going in. So we are going to bring this out all the way and see how we are doing. Now that is just a little bit to much. That is almost perfect.
