Hemming the Bottom & Top of the Panel When Making Curtains

Hello! My name is Lindsay on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I’m going to be showing you how to hem the bottom and the top of the panel. Now that we’ve hemmed both sides we’re going to go to the bottom and we’re going to measure 3 inches. So where your hem is on the sides we’re going to fold the panel over and make sure it’s 3 inches and we’re going to put a straight pin and you’re going to do this all the way across and at the top we’re going to fold it down 1 inch and you’re going to put straight pins across the whole entire top too. Now that we’ve pinned it all the way across we’re going to start to sew it, we’re going to sew about a half inch from where your pins are from that end right there.
