Materials for a Piñata
Hello, my name is Cindy Glover and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm going to talk about the basic materials needed to make a piñata. You will need newspaper, a balloon it could be large or small but it’s recommended that it has an hour glass shape, a liquid adhesive, string and a rope to hang the piñata with. There are different receipts for the piñata mix; the first one is the most commonly used, flour and water, also glue and water and just liquid starch. You want to take your newspaper and tear it in 6 inch strips 1-4 inches wide and they say that tearing it is the best way to do it because when you cut the newspaper, the pieces don't lye smoothly on top of each other. Once you tear your newspapers, you then take your balloon and blow it up, tie it and once you choose your mixture you’re ready to start dipping your strips and placing them on the piñata.
