Hi Malik the magic guy for expertvillage.com. Now I'm going to teach you something really fun but a little bit difficult. We are going to talk about springing cards, which looks like this. Now this looks impossible to do and it is not easy, but I'm going to teach you some tips on how to do it that will help you learn it. Now I'm using regular Bicycle cards, and these are pretty stiff. Bicycle cards have gotten a little thiner over the years, but if you use a brand like this, like a Streamline or like a Stud or Aviators, use cards that are a little bit more thinner. And because of the plastic coating, this spring is a little bit different, and some people that I have taught this to have told me these are a little bit easier for them. So the first step is you want to build up some hand strength, so let's talk about how to do that. When you first start springing cards, basically it requires bending the cards like this with your hands. Now this requires some hand strength that you may not have right away. So the first step is that you want to start with maybe ten cards. So let's take ten cards, and you want to hold them, and you are going to hold them in between your thumb and your four fingers, if you can fit four or three. You are just going to practice bending them like this. Now it is going to make this spring happen; it is just a gradual release of the pressure like that. You want to practice with 10 cards or so with your hands pretty close. So the next video I will teach you more on how to spring cards with more cards and how to get some control and some aim.
