How to do the Ribbon Spread Turnover Card Trick

Hi Malik the magic guy for expertvillage.com. Now I'm going to show you more with the ribbon spread. I've showed you how to spread the cards; now this is a really fun thing that you can do with the ribbon spread. Now you just take the cards and you turn them over like this and you get a nice wave kind of thing going on. Let me show you that one more time. Spread just like this and you get a nice wave. Now you can go back and forth like that. Now the way that you want to do this is you ribbon spread your cards, and then you are just going to pick up here and then you are going to turn it over and you just going to do it with some momentum. If you stop too early or you don't do it fast enough, you are going to get them to stop in the middle. Which is some times okay. Basically you just want to just like that. Now you can combine them with a scoop, so you can get a really nice display like this. You let them fall over right into your hands and scoop them up this way. You want to do that with some momentum. As you are bringing the card over, you just want to sort of give it a good push. Just like that. Now eventually as you go back and forth, the cards are going to start to get chunky and kind of separate, so eventually they are going to break in the middle like this. You really are going to get to go back and forth twice, maybe three times if you are lucky. But that is how you do a basic ribbon spread and turnover.
