How to do One-Handed Cut Card Tricks
Hi Malik the magic guy for expertvillage.com. I want to show you another one handed cut. Now this you might find a little difficult to do, but I'm going to show you some other ways to do it, and if you find that the cards are too big you can use the bridge size cards I talked about before. Those are a little narrower and those would help you out. Now the way that I do this is I'm going to wedge the deck between my first and my second fingers, just like this, and I'm going to take my thumb I'm going to kick it over to this side of the deck. Not this side this side of the deck. I'm going to break of some of the cards. I'm going to swivel them around and then I'm going to drag this finger underneath and cut the cards like that. Show you that one more time just like this. One more time from the sides so you can see. Breaks off just like that. Lets do one more from the back just like that. Now you can do this holding it between you first and your ring finger. Normally your ring finger is not as strong as your middle finger, so you may have to practice a little more to get your strength up. But you can do the same thing: you can come over, break off a section of cards, drag them around, it is a little tough to do slowly here, but if you come over you can drag that around just like that . I usually don't do it that way, but it is actually one of those moves that if you do it quickly it helps you a little bit. And to practice this a little bit is really just a question of finding the finger configuration that works for you, and if it is to hard to reach over with your thumb, it helps if you push the cards a little further forward like that, and you can reach over a little easier and drag it underneath just like that. So that is another variation on the one handed cut.
