Veterinarian's Funniest Moment

Yeah, she's aware. Just. Being a veterinarian you see a lot of things everyday. It can be slow, it can be completely insane, and you never know what's going to walk through the door. Probably one of the funniest things that I've ever seen as being a veterinarian was a little hamster that was placed in a Barbie car in a Malibu Barbie car that had an open sunroof. And as the hamster went down the hole, it turned and flipped and it jacked to the hamster. The hamster was fine, that's not funny, the hamster was absolutely fine and did not get hurt, but just having a hamster in a Barbie car and getting into an accident was quite funny, so we all, the owners and I, we all had a good laugh about that. And the hamster was fine. So, it ended up being fine. But, from now on they were required to wear seat belts for the hamsters. So. What are the most satisfying moments of being a veterinarian has to be making that difference when somebody comes through the door with a very sick animal and you recognize why it's sick and that it's resolvable, and that you're going to be the one that changes that outcome. Without you, that animal may die, and with you, you can completely, possibly, hopefully, turn that around and that makes the animal feel better, that makes the owners feel better, the whole family better. That's incredibly rewarding and satisfying.
