There is obviously a chair under her. They show a shot of her legs and you can see the chair. Did you even watch this, Sarah_is_an_idiot?

Why can't anyone give this girl a break? She is trying to help us all by giving us the tools we need to get good. My mouth technique is getting better all the time.

Sarah_is_an_idiot can actually call others retards because she is one. Otherwise, it would be offensive. So keep that in mind when criticizing her. Also, you will never see kara, I'm mean kate, I mean Sarah_is_an_idiot make a video. It would invite scrutiny and that is something she avoids at all costs.

Sarah_is_an_idiot is simply doing the flute world justice by preventing the corruption of thousands of beginning flutists. If Sarah is demonstrating things wrong to the entire world, don't you think she should be corrected? 90 degrees is a no-no, by the way, and to all the aspiring flutists out there, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get a real teacher, it'll save you from having to get rid of all the bad habits you learned on this site (and save everyone else from having to hear you play like this)!

I was wondering if you even watch these videos and now I know you don't. If you did, you'd see that she isn't on the floor, but in a wonderful contraption called a CHAIR! If you think you can do better, grab a webcam and show us.

Whoever you are 'Sarah_is_an_idiot' you are very rud and I find your comments offensive. Even if you are right and she is wrong there is no need for what you have written here. I hope the people who pay attendtion to your purile additions to this website do not have lives as sad and empty as yours appears to be. I'm sure you are an expert flautist. Well done.

Posture for Playing Flute
Hi, my name is Sarah for Expert Village.com. Today, I am going to talk to you about proper posture for the flute. It is very important to keep your back completely straight. This will help with your breathing. Your legs need to be at a 90 degree angle with your feet flat on the floor, completely straight. This will help with your breathing. Your legs need to be at a 90 degree angle with your feet flat on the floor and your knees slightly apart. When you hold your flute up, your arms need to be as straight as they can and wide and your flute needs to be at a 90 degree angle with you, the same level as the floor.
