How to Plate & Serve Meringue Kisses

Helen McMahon for Expert Village. We have our forgotten cookies or meringue cookies or meringue kisses. Now we’ve left them in the oven overnight. They’re now ready to be presented on a tray or a platter. I find that a dark plate looks particularly nice and for a festive touch you can add some Hershey Kisses around the edges and that looks very festive and attractive especially for the holidays. You can alternate your reds and silvers and sometimes they have gold and it looks kind of pretty and festive. The others should be stored in an air-tight container and they will keep for quiet a few days. If they’re in a cool dry place and then they can be served at a later time. But be sure that you handle them as carefully as possible because they are very delicate but there you have your holiday treat decorated with the Hershey Kisses chocolate in the forgotten kisses and a little bit of chocolate for a treat as well.
