How to Make Your Mascara Last Longer

Hi my name is Lauren with makeup by Dodge and today we will be talking about how to make your mascara last longer. Now in all honestly you really shouldn't have mascara that is over a month or two old or else it is going to be kind of full of all sorts of bacteria and stuff that you really don't want to be putting back into your eye. When you think about makeup you should really think that this is stuff that you are directly putting on your face and your face should be the most precious thing that you consider yourself to have, right? But there are a couple of tricks to keep it lasting just a little longer, not much longer than it needs to be but just a little longer so that you can use it longer and one of those tricks is you can instead of, a lot of women like to pump their mascara like this, and doing that makes the mascara dry and the whole point of it is you want it to be fluid, you want it to run over your lashes so it won't clump. So if you do a lot of this and pump in air it won't really, so when you do try to take your mascara out with your wand you are going to want to put it in and swirl it around rather than doing this. That will definitely keep your mascara running longer. Also if you find that your mascara is a little bit dry you can put it in a tub of hot water and it will loosen it up a little bit and then you can use it for as long as you want except past a month, that's all.
