How to Train Off of the Water

I'm Jodi Fisher with Jodi's Ski School in Orlando, Florida, and for Expert Village, I would like to talk to you today about what you could do off the water for training. Just like in most sports, any sort of cross training gym, cycling, running, gym fitness is very useful for the sport of water skiing. We have worked out some specific exercises which you could see on my website jodifisher.com. But, generally water ski fitness comes from water skiing. It is a really unique set of muscles that you do use when you water ski, and it is very difficult to stimulate that off the water. Just a general fitness is useful to help prevent injury and just for you to fully experience, you know, having the most fun out there.
