Patch Art Base Paint

Hi, I'm Jason with Red Rum Studios. So we're ready to start painting on the patch. First color like I said was white, get a little bit of white out of here and equal parts of the textile medium. A brush, get all the water out of the brush; you don't want any water left in it. And these brushes aren't that good but I still treat my bad brushes like kings. Put the bristle on the towel, put your thumb over it and pull it back, and that draws all the water out and gives you a nice, clean brush. It doesn't need to be clean I just need the water out, nice. Stir my paint up, it doesn't look any, you know, it doesn't look any different than, then regular paint, you just want to make sure that, that it's all in there and then just start your, your mask. Make a quick outline of where you think you want it to go and also with the white I'm going to make a knife where I want to end the leather strip really quick just so it's there, and I can visualize see it. Just put the knife up here and it comes out here, and the straps. Okay, we'll go from there.
