How to Make an Ordinary Object Appear from Nowhere: Magic Tricks
Hi, Tim Mannix, back again doing magic for you guys and I am going to do one of my favorite tricks and I won’t even tell you the name but we do magic with everyday objects like cards, coins and things because people identify immediately with the object and I would like to do some magic with an every day object. Hope you can identify it. It is pretty cool. Watch this. It, oh wait a minute, it was in here a second ago. Hang on just a second. It uh, oh there it is. Sometimes it gets stuck in the bag. If you just shake it out and usually third time is a charm. There it is right there. That is wow that is beautiful. That is called a bowling ball. That is what that is call. That is magic. I like this good trick. This has the element of surprise in it which is almost mandatory for magic. That is what gets people’s goat, you might say, they umff, that is why people love magic. Wow where did that thing come from. How did he do that? The whole mystery of how these guys do what they do. Okay? That is why I like magic and I think that is probably why you do to. Did you notice that as I was pattering, that is the magician’s talk kind of like I am doing now. Theoretically it should make some sense but a magician never as a rule sometimes they break the rule but as a cardinal rule we never break the rule of telling what we are going to do. We never say I am now going to make a bowling ball appear and then you do that. Big deal you did what you said. Okay? So you can patter about everyday objects, you can talk about your favorite sport, maybe they would like to guess what that is and then of course you go into the bagging, out drops and objects such as a bowling ball. Wow, knocks them off their chair hopefully. When an object like that appears out of no where people’s immediate responses Wow, this guy is a magician. So you got to have some tricks that in your arsenal of tricks that just aren’t fun but that sort of knock people out and this one does. So that is why I do it. Thanks.
