Even though this is an introductory lesson if you like a challenge or if you feel like this crossing business is really easy here is an advanced move that can give you something to practice. Actually starting with one hand, spinning backwards, try crossing behind your back and returning to the side so you are making a figure 8 behind you instead of in front of you. You'll find very quickly that your coordination behind your back is much more limited than it is in front of you and it might take some practice to master this skill. Try it with both hands, then you can take both of them together and do fancy tricks like this.
