I want to thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. Today we’re going to learn about some make-up techniques and this is my beautiful model Ana-Lucy Corona. What I’m going to do is take that powder that I was talking about earlier in the pressed form, and I’m going to take a brush, and I’m just going to kind of grab some powder and I’m going to tap it in, so that way the powder is in the brush, and I’m going to apply it down in a downward motion, because everyone has a little bit of hair on their face, like peach fuzz and if you apply the powder like this, you’re going to make the hair stick up on the face, so we want to kind of push all down. If you notice I’m going over the eyebrows, I’m going over the eyelids, everything. You can use a loose powder that’s great, its equal. Loose powder would probably give you more coverage but it’s a little bit messier and not as handy if you want to put in your purse. So whatever foundation you really fall in love with, find the matching powder in that line, whether it’s Revlon or any line that you have, try to get it because they all are made to work together. I’m just putting on a nice sheer base. You see how pretty that is, her eyebrows are done, she looks very pretty, very natural; but what I need to do is take a little bit of water, and you can use a q-tip or you can use anything, and I’m just going to take a little bit of her foundation and powder off her eyebrows. If you don’t remember to do this, her eyebrows your model’s eyebrows will look gray and you don’t want to have gray eyebrows. Now we have a beautiful, beautiful palette of base that we can start with.
