Off Road Riding Tips for a Dirt Bike or Motorcycle
Hi my name is Chris Kelley or my friends call me CK and I’m speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a stunt man currently working out in the Hollywood area and I’m going to give you some tips today on motorcycles and motorcycle riding. Here’s a good tip about riding, if you’re going to be riding a dirt bike out on the track, or through the desert, or and rough areas, let’s put it on the stand here to demonstrate, if I can get up on it. You want to constantly try to maintain, be up on your feet in your attack position, over the bars, you want to keep your knees in tight to the bike so you can soak up those bumps. You want to look ahead and you want to feel and you want to let the bike do the work. You don’t want to sit like this because what happens if you’re sitting down and you get tired and you hit one of these big bumps it’s going to send you up over the bike over the bars, that’s not going to be a fun thing. So maintain that central position and ride within our limits, you know if you feel comfortable, pick up the speed. Big thing, you want to know what your limits are, ride what you can ride, feel comfortable with where you’re at, but know where you can go. If you work your way up, don’t attempt to do a foot triple when you can’t even do a twenty foot double, get the double nailed. The basics will lead to success.
