How to Perform Simple Magic Tricks

Hi, I'm magician Paul Weatherbee and I'm going to give you some tips on how to perform simple magic tricks. The very best place to start to find information on magic is at the local library. Most libraries have a small section of magic books. Book stores also have many beginning magic books with simple and, sometimes, self working magic tricks. The next step would be to look on the Internet. If you do a search for beginning magic tricks, there's a number of them that come up. And, there's many different web sites that have video as well as text to tell you how to do simple magic tricks. The next thing you should do is try to find a local magic shop in your area. Most people who have magic shops really like to encourage people to do magic and help out with young magicians, and it can be a great value to you. When learning simple magic tricks there are a few things that you should remember. You should always practice. You should practice before you try to do the trick for anyone. You should practice a number of times and practice in front of a mirror. After you've practiced in front of a mirror, and you think you can fool people, then you can show your friends and family and then move on to other folks. And, whatever you do, don't tell how the secret's done. I hope these tips have been helpful for you and I hope you have fun with the hobby of magic. Until next time, keep the magic in your life.
