How to Perform the Do As I Do Card Trick

Hi, I'm Magician Paul Weatherbee, and this is the you do as I do card trick. Sir, would you like to help out, please? I have a red deck of cards for you, and I have a blue deck here. Shuffle the cards. Make sure they're good and shuffled. Just to make sure they're good and shuffled. Why don't you take my deck and I'll take your deck. We'll shuffle them a little bit more. Perfect. Perfect. There's your deck back again. Now this is the you do as I do card, I'd like you to do exactly what I do. Take the cards. Cut them about three, actually cut them three times. Take a look at the center card, remember it. Place it back down. Pick up your packet, put it right on top. Put the last packet right on top of that. Now I'd like you to look for your card in my deck. And I'll look for your card in your deck. Alright. OK, here's my card, do you have your card? Yup. OK. Go ahead and turn it over. Look at that, they match. That was awesome. Fate, chance, or coincidence? I prefer to think it's magic. And now I'm going to explain to you the you do as I do card trick. You have two decks of cards. Toy have a spectator shuffle the cards as you shuffle the cards. And then you tell them just to make it more fair you're going to switch decks. You shuffle up their deck, and when you do, before you hand it back to them, you look at the bottom card. That's the key card. Remember the bottom card. When they cut three piles, have them look at the center card, and you can look at the center card, but it really doesn't matter what your card is. Because it's important what their card is. They look at it. You have them, put the decks back together again. That puts the key card on top of their chosen card. You exchange decks once more. You tell them to look for their card in your deck, as you look for your card in their deck. You really, looking for the key card. And then both cards match. Have fun and keep magic in your life.
