On behalf of expertvillage.com, I am Jennifer with a Perfect Fit Alterations. We are located in Burleson, Texas. Our phone number is (817) 447-3522. We are now finishing up our pet coat that we have already decorated. On our pattern piece, it tells you on here you have some little squares right here on the bottom, it tells you that is where we are going to put the Velcro. We've marked that on both sides and we have our Velcro. It doesn't matter which end you put where as long as you don't put 2 of 1 on the same side. So we have our Velcro. We are going to cut small strips This is going to fasten around on here. We are going to put it under the machine, start right at the edge and this is real important to backstitch right here. You want to backstitch here 4, 5, or 6 times. You can't backstitch enough right here because this piece is going to be pulled on and off when you take it on and off of the pad and there is going to be a lot of stress on this. So we are going to go back here, forward 2 or 3 stitches, we are going to backstitch, forward 2 or 3 stitches, we are going to backstitch. You can't backstitch enough right here. We are going to go on to the edge. When we get to the edge, we are going to put our needle down, turn the fabric and we are going to backstitch right here. Do the same thing when you get to the next edge. Put your needle down, turn the fabric, get to the end here, backstitch, put your needle down, 2 or 3 stitches backstitch and get to the end and backstitch and that's our first piece of Velcro.
