Tight Waist Arm Chop Youth Wrestling Move

Hi! My name is Matthew Moyles. I’m a coach here at Minisink Valley. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village and today we’re going to go over competitive wrestling. Here we’re going to go over basic breakdown called a tight waist arm chop. Richard is set in his bottom position. Bottom man, are you set? Top man proceed. The name of this breakdown is a tight waist arm chop, and the name says everything. What Josh is going to do is take his right arm and go tie it around his waist grabbing for the far side of his ribs. While he does that, he’s going to simultaneously chop at Richard’s elbow with the hard part of his thumb here and drive forward. Here’s what it looks like in slow. Go ahead. Now Josh is going to demonstrate the tight waist arm chop at regular speed. Go ahead Josh.
