Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and I’m going to show you how to use rubber stamping for stamping on ribbon and fabric which you can use on cards. If you want to rubber stamp on a piece of ribbon you can use that to make a card and just put your sentiment on a ribbon like that and all you’ll need is your ribbon, I like to use the permanent ink, find the thin stamp that’s got what you want to say on it, ink it and then just carefully line it up, place it with the ribbon, press hard try not to rock back and forth, lift it up and that’ll stamp your ribbon, like I said that makes a nice addition to your card. You can also stamp fabric and use that on a card, this is just this leaf stamp, when you’re stamping fabric you can use fabric paint what you can buy at any craft store and same sort of technique, you just want get your stamp, make sure that you’ve stamped your stamp, press down on the fabric obviously different kinds of fabrics are going to stamp better than others, something that’s thin is going to stamp a little bit better. This is permanent and you can wash it once it dries, you do not have to heat set it but it does make a nice stamp and would make a lovely addition to your card. If you have any questions on this technique you can contact us at Lasting Legacy website.
