Card Making Using Paint With Rubber Stamps

Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and I’m here to talk about rubber stamping. Rubber stamping is used mostly for scrapbooking and making cards like that but the nice thing about rubber stamping is that you can use it on many different surfaces, you can rubber stamp on wood, you can rubber stamp on glass, people have rubber stamped boarders on their wall, you just want to make sure when you do that you use a permanent paint that’s not going to smear or run. And this is a rubber stamp, this stamp here that I’ve used on glass and with a candle in it that makes a really nice effect and all you really need to do is get your ink pad, make sure you ink your image and cover it and make sure and then with using other surfaces it’s a little bit harder than paper just because the surface is slick, it’s easier for the stamp to move so you just want to be very careful, place the stamp down try not to move it at all, put a little pressure on it and then bring the stamp up and you’ll get a nice effect like that. It will take, this is permanent ink and will dry quickly but on glass it’ll take a little bit longer but it’ll give you a kind of a nice effect especially with a candle in it.
