Card Making Using Markers With Rubber Stamps

Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and we’re going to be talking about another rubber stamping technique not using the ink pad but using markers. You don’t want to use your everyday kind of magic marker, there are special markers for stamping you can buy them at any of your crafts stores but what you can do is color your image with your marker rather than the ink pad and you just take the marker color over it, it doesn’t have to be perfect and you can use multiple colors if you want to get some shading, I’m just going to do this very basically, put a little green here in the middle for the petals and then you do what’s called the haw technique and you go hawww to get some moisture on it, press it down and make sure you cover all the image, lift it up and you’ll have stamped with markers, that gives you a little bit different technique and to make a card with that you can add another stamp. Stamps also come in words, you can use that to make that image there, another thing you can do with markers and stamping is just to color in the image, this is the stamp here stamped on this card and then you would just take your markers and color them in you know how ever you wanted to just like this, you’ve got both a thick tip and a thin tip. So you can use the thin tip for little places to color in and you can get some really cute different looking techniques with this, this is that same stamp colored in with several different colors, this is the same stamp using markers to color it in and I just used the black and white but as you can see it’ll give you a nice effect and is very easy to do and that’s how you stamp with markers.
