Scarecrow Conditioning Drill for Youth Wrestling Moves
Hi! My name is Matthew Moyles. I’m a coach here at Minisink Valley. I’m here on behalf of Expert Village and today we’re going to go over competitive wrestling. The next conditioning drill we’re going to do is called the scarecrow. Richard is going to get down on his knees and put both hands out. Josh is going to be in a sugar foot stance; he’s going to lead with a head tap, which is a setup. He’s going to do a penetration step with his right foot. His left leg is going to be his drag leg. He’s going to up and follow him through. He’s going to hold there and his right leg is going to come up and be a step across leg. Go ahead. Now this leg here is suppose to stimulate a tripping devise that you trip your opponent over, Josh is going to demonstrate the scarecrow drill at full speed. Go ahead Josh.
