How to Make a Cookie Cutter Shadow Box
Hello this is Jenny with simple beautiful crafts on behalf of expertvillage.com. With an assortment of cookie cutters, maybe a small rolling pin, and a few receipt cards and a stainless steel wire cutlery tray you can make a very fun, very attractive kitchen shadow box. What I did to make this shadow box was to get out my collection of cookie cutters and find ones that will fit in here. I really like this butterfly so I think that I'm going to replace my plastic butterfly with my metal one. I also like this cookie cutter but it was to big to fit so I left it out. After I have selected the cookie cutter that I want to put in here I got busy with my 28 gage wire and my scissors and this one was just snug enough to fit, this one had to be hung, and so did this one and this one. I also use this wire to attach my little rolling pin and then I put some receipt in here. This are just glue in and this one has a piece of wire that is keep it near the front. So that have different levels in my shadow box. This one is also just glue on and then for a kind of unique special effect I glue a big receipt card on the very back of my shadow box. Once you have glue on or you have wire on your pieces and you have them the way that you want them you would still want to take a little bit of wire and secure this two so they don't fall off. Then when you are all done and you have your wires hanging out the back it is very simple to take your scissors and clip them off. It is very light weight 28 gage wire. Of course you can arrange and rearrange them any way that you want but I think this made a very fun attractive kitchen shadow box out of cookie cutter and receipts.
