Cleaning High-Rise Windows: Zero Degree Squeegee

My name is Jason. I'm with Hi-tech Window Cleaning. In this segment, I'm going to explain how to use the zero degree squeegee. The reason we use this is to get over office furniture, desks, things of that nature. Or if there's a big bush in the way of the window, we don't have to jump into the stickers. We start off with using a pole. We'll mop the window. Notice I'm using a swivel mop. It's a little bit easier to control down low. After you get the window wet, you'll replace it with the zero degree. And it is exactly that. It's straight up and down. You put on the squeegee, and you actually use it just like a hand squeegee, except on a pole. The squeegee never comes off the glass. And you can turn the pole, and it will actually pivot the squeegee to where you need it. This does take a lot of practice, but it saves you a lot of time and especially around office furniture, office desks, things of that nature. You don't have to crawl up on them. You just use the pole. The window looks just as good as doing it by hand, but again, it does take practice. And you know, just give it a shot. It'll save you a lot of time. And it's a lot safer than getting up on the ladders.
