Starting Tae Kwon Do Three Step Sparring

Hi this is Aaron Fruitstone from Chi Martial Arts in Miami Shores, Florida. You can reach us on the web at www.chimartialarts.com. The next exercise that I’m going to be doing will be exactly mirrored to you, so every technique that I’m going to be doing, if I tell you to move your left foot, I will be moving my right foot. It’s called three step sparring, we do it alone and with a partner. This segment will be the first half, the next segment will be the second half. The first thing you’re going to do from your parallel stance, you’re going to take your left foot, bring it together with your right foot you’ll salute. You’re going to bring your left foot and return. You’re going to measure in a walking stance with your right foot come back, stepping back with your right foot into a low outer forearm black and keel that’s your ready signal. From here you will advance, walking stance middle fore fist punch. Three of them, parallel stance. Again. Salute, measure, retreat. Ready to go. And advance. We’ll be back.
