Negative Heart Attack Responses

What not to do when you're having a heart attack. The most important thing is not to wait to summon help. Statistics show that most people wait three hours before getting help when they're suffering a heart attack. The American Heart Association recommends that you do not wait longer than five minutes before activating the 91 system if you're suffering from chest pain. Also, if your chest pain is intermittent, comes and goes over a period of time, you should activate the 9-1-1 system. If you do not wish to go by ambulance to the hospital, and you're having a heart attack, do not drive yourself. Too many times, people are having a heart attack; suffer car accidents on their way to help because they lose consciousness, and therefore, die. Let one of your family members or friends drive you. Also, remember that aspirin is not a cure for a heart attack. It only helps. Too many times, people take aspirin thinking it's going to correct the heart attack. That is not true. Aspirin can only help. Remember, you need to summon professional medical help when you're suffering from a heart attack.
