Etude Seven for Classical Guitar: Part 5

Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com. I’m a professional guitar instructor, and today I’ll be discussing some advanced classical guitar pieces. Next, I’d like to discuss measures 16 and 17 of etude number 7 by Mateo Carcassi. Here we’re working on an E major chord. Okay, starting off it’s an arpeggio thing. We’re planting PIM and A, applying downward pressure. Pulling off an F and then pedal tuning that E. At the E, G sharp to E, B to E. Next, A and the low octave to E. F, D sharp, D, C, D, A. Pedal tuning back to E the whole time. Here it is. Again.
