Etude Seven for Classical Guitar: Part 3
Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com. I’m a professional guitar instructor, and today I’ll be discussing some advanced classical guitar pieces. Okay, next I’d like to discuss the next 4 measures of the piece. Now we’re changing; we’re modulating to the relative major the key of A minor or C major. A very typical practice in a lot of classical guitar pieces. Some will either start off in the minor and modulate to the relative major or vice versa in major modulate to the relative minor, and then usually come back to the original key. Still, here we’re still using the tremolo technique but around a C note basing it out of a C chord. There’s that 1st measure. Once again, still AMI, AMI on the tremolo technique. Okay, next measure. Basically going to a D7 chord. An A or maybe an A7 chord. A D minor chord, a D7 chord. There’s that measure right there. Now, a G chord. Next measure there. Okay, back to C. So putting the next 4 measures together.
