Allegro Four for Classical Guitar
Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com. I’m a professional guitar instructor, and today I’ll be discussing some advanced classical guitar pieces. Next, I would like to discuss measure 7 and 8 in the piece of Allegro by Mauro Giuliani. Measure 7 contains, once again is based around an A minor chord, but this time it’s a first inversion of the A minor chord, we have a C note in the base. Planting, it’s arpeggio. You can see where I have my PIM and A fingers planted just as I did in the first measure. Applying downward pressure as I do my arpeggio. Measure 8 is based out of an E7 chord. The 5 chord in the key of A minor, using the dominant 7 chord voicing your version of it. Same planting arpeggio as was in major 7. PIM and A, downward pressure. Those two measures together now.
