Limited Time Variations & Abalone Board Game Tips
Hello! My name is Melissa Shank and on behalf of expertvillage.com, today we have been talking about some basic tips for playing the game Abalone. So you are pretty much there. We've talked about all kinds of different ways to move the marbles, it's a 2 player game and the object of the game of course the object is to push 6 of your opponents marbles off of the board in any of the directions there. We've talked about Sumito; having the superiority of marbles and when you are pushing them. Also packs, positions balanced forces in there. So when you are ejecting the marbles remember 6 is a winner and so let's talk about timed variations basically. Sometimes you want to limit that time variation. It can help in speeding up and playing the game. It depends if you are an advanced player or if you are novice or beginner player, but what you can normally do is also put a time limit on the game so that it can either be 10 to 15 minutes or you can say it will be 20 minutes. More experienced people usually play it, one game normally takes about 10 to 15 minutes to play. It also depends on the age of the person that you are playing with. Young or older people you know its average ages 8 to adult. I've seen younger people play the game as well. So you would be amazed. Younger people can really usually beat up the adults in the end so usually a game for a time variation is between 10 and 15 minutes.
