You know, American Flag etiquette, and the rules of our nation's flag, is something that every American should be familiar with. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni , over thirty years firefighting and EMS experience. What I'm going to talk about, is flag etiquette, and the rules pertaining to the American Flag, when the American Flag is carried in a procession, with other flags. The American Flag when carried in a procession, should be carried to the flag's own right, of the other flags that it's carried with. That is, to the viewer's left, of the approaching procession. The American Flag's staff should be placed ahead of the other flag staffs, that it's in procession with, as the marchers move along. Again, the American Flag when carried in a procession with other flags, should be carried to the flag's own right, or to the viewers left, of the approaching procession, and the staff of that American Flag, should be held ahead of the staffs of the other flags, in the procession.
