It's so important to maintain professional hand positions. Hands are so noticeable when you're a professional model. What I'd like for you to really check out are my hands right now. My thumbnails are facing forward, not my knuckles. Just the difference in the knuckles to the side and the thumbnails facing forward into the camera is so important, because when you learn the catwalk, you're going to notice that this is what keeps the body aligned to flow smoothly down the ramp. So right now I'd just like for you to really notice that my thumbnails are forward. My fingers are not curled or clenched, or definitely not stiff at the side, but that my fingers are relaxed. You can take the fingertips and lightly touch into your thigh then release them and you'll know that you have the proper hand position for a professional model. The next clip is going to show you how to use your head while you professionally model.
