My name is Katrina Cook and I am a casting director and owner of Katz Casting, and I am here on behalf of Expert Village.com to let you know what you need to do to prepare for your next audition. And next I will be talking to you about what to do and what to expect whenever you are in an actual audition. And now you have read your script, you are familiar with your character, you have your sides, and you have two copies of your headshot with your resume stapled neatly on the back with your contact information. You are ready to go. Now, I am going to bring Drew in and he will help us demonstrate the audition process. I want to remind you to be sure and arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled time. But be respectful to the other actors and don’t get there much earlier than that because normally we schedule them in short increments in order to get people out in a timely manner. And one thing I want to remind you as well is do not wear hats during the audition unless thee role specially asks for that. But be sure to dress nicely and dress appropriate to the role. Be nice to the people out in the front. You never know who they may be related to.
