The Object of the Game Abalone
Hello! My name is Melissa Shank and on behalf of expertvillage.com, today we are talking about some basic tips for playing the game Abalone If you have never played the game Abalone, we have it here on the table for you to have a look at. This is usually the kind of box it comes in. It is usually black and white because your pieces which you will discover in a moment, the marbles inside are black and white and the game piece or the game board itself is also black. So it is recommended here, it is very hard to see probably, that it is for ages 8 to adult although I know very young people up to the age 5 and 6 year olds have also played this game. So let's for a moment talk about the object of the game. We will get into all of the rules and regulations and the pieces in a moment but basically what it is, it is a counting game, a numbers game. You really have to know your numbers up to 6 which is why very young people can play this game. The opt of the game when we get working with marbles and it is a 2 player game. The basic object is to eject 6 of your opponent's marbles and therefore once you have done that, you win the game. Now we will get into some strategy techniques on how to play the game and also the rules and regulations but don't forget the object of the game is to eject 6 of your players marbles off of the board.
