Hi I'm Johanna and this is Karen and we're here from Hip Expressions Belly Dance studio in St. Petersburg Florida; let's practice our rocking undulation traveling to the side with our sunrise and sunset arms. First let's lead with our right foot; so our right foot's forward, left foot's back; knees are bent and start our rocking undulation, you may want to check out our clip on rocking undulations if you have a question about these; good and sunrise arms as we travel to the right, bring the arms up as we travel to the left; keep that right foot forward and bring the arms down, good; arms come up, lead with the elbows and as we come back to the left; as they come down keep the elbows bent, good; nice soft arms, travel to the right; right left, right left; keep that right foot forward, left right; left, double time; 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4; good. Keep your self isolated so you're not bobbing up and down; nice clean body movements practiced in front of a mirror; soon you'll be undulating right across the dance floor.
