Hi I'm Johanna Krynytzky and this is Karen Sunray from Hip Expressions Belly Dance studio in St. Petersburg Florida; now let's drill our rocking undulation at an intermediate level, so we've done the basics drill; you can see that clip and drill that until you have that all nice and smooth. And now let's put our left foot slightly in front of our right; our toes are touching our heels so we're not taking a huge step, knees are bent; good, arms are out away from the body. Now this drill's going to be a little different; we're going to go forward on 1, up on 2; keep the chest lifted, shift your weight to your back foot and then 3; and then 4 tuck. So we're going to go forward on 1; up on 2; lift back and pull down, good so as we come forward and then up keep the chest lifted as you shift your weight back; it's very tempting to let the chest drop on the way back but you want to go forward and lift, keep it lifted and then roll down; and forward and up, keep it lifted and roll down; good, forward and up; keep it lifted and roll down, good. Make sure you don't let your chest drop as you come forward o.k.; the chest comes straight forward nice and isolated, forward and up; keep it lifted and roll down, good. So drill that a couple times; make those moves nice and distinct, and then we'll move onto the advanced.
