How to Decorate a House Office

Hi my name is Frank Clarke with Oliver and Associates Realty in London Ontario on behalf of expertvillage.com. I want to talk to you about home offices. It seems now days so many home have a home office. A lot of times they have just taken a room like this that is the third bedroom in the house and they turned into there home office instead of having a desk they have a dining room or kitchen table sitting here which they work on. That is all find everyone has a lifestyle and everyone has a budget etc we don't expect to see fancy office furniture just because it is your home office but something that is incredibly important to know is that there is nothing personal on this desk top. This office is pretty much ready for a home showing. The bulletin boards have been taken down, all of the stickems are gone, etc, etc, although this might be a inconvenient even if you stick them away somewhere behind a piece of furniture or in that closet etc at lease the people aren't looking at your personal business. They are looking at the space. They have to recognize that this might be a bedroom for them where it is a home office for you but they don't need to be distracted with what you are working on. If you have the thing like a fax machine when you are away during those showing how about having that fax machine shut off. The reason you are shutting that off is because you don't want personal information coming through that fax machine and beeping and distracting. So what I'm going to say here to sum it up is keep your home office cleaned. Computer screens, etc, getting incredibly dusty and dirty they seem to attract the dirt so stay on top of that and remember this is about a bedroom first and a home office second so we want the people seeing the how use to recognize that this is probably there child's bedroom.
