Updating Wall Paper & Paint

Hi my name is Frank Clarke with Oliver and Associates Realty in London Ontario on behalf of expertvillage.com. I would like to briefly about paint and paper and cob webs and dust and things like that. Things that could really make a big difference to the buyer when they first walk in to your home. Now I know that everyone lives on a budget it is very important to recognize that things date there self as well. I suggest to you that you walk through a few model homes such as this one that we are in today this beautiful model home and take note of some of the new colors, etc, the new light fixtures, etc. you can walk in a home where maybe it was built in the 70s or 60s and the light fixtures are incredibly dated. I suggest that you hit one of the local stores and pick up a new light fixture. It doesn't need to be expensive and put that light fixture in that totally updated a entrance for example. You may spend a couple of hundreds of dollars you may even spent 30 dollars but it could update that room quiet a bit. I do suggest that you update your colors as well. I know that it is inconvenient painting paper but if you are not handy it is a bigger task even more more so. But I do suggest that you look in to it. If you have something that has 1970s again wall paper on it and you really really want to update your house you really want to up date your house you want to remove that wall paper. A couple of hundred dollars or a couple of thousands of dollars on paint and paper could make all the difference in the world it could put thousands of more dollars in your pocket. People don't want to buy something that they would have a lot to do when they move into the home. So I suggest call in your friend, call in your neighbors, call in a interior designer anything you need to do but get your house updated as much as possible you can before you put in the market. That would help you sell that house.
