Hi I'm Robert Rogers and I'm Mike Ballosonie and behalf of expertvillage.com. Today we are going to be talking about basic stretches you do before and after you run to help loosen up your muscles and help relax. On the toes toucher you try to stretch the back part of your leg here to help extend your stride. Counting is very important 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 it always nice to have a partner to count with make it a little bit more fun or to run with. Also when you stretch (go ahead and do that stretch again)go ahead and go down notice his legs are straight, he is not shaken, nor bouncing. By bouncing I'm mean (go ahead and bounce) go down a try to bounce while you are stretching. Sometimes if you are not that flexible you might only go to here. After awhile you feel yourself go further and further down to the ground. Some people can actually put there pawns on the ground.
This method is dangerous due to risk of back injury and should never be done. Preferred method is to stabilize the spine by lying on your back, bring knee to chest, and then extend leg by quadriceps action.
