Teaching a Monolingual Speaker a Foreign Language

Hello my name is Hakeem Lavelle I am here on behalf of Expert Village to do a how to video on teaching a foreign language. Now we are at the portion where we are talking about the mono lingual. What do I mean by the mono lingual I mean mono meaning one. A person who is limited to only one language and with those limitation comes many challenges. Now we are specifically talking about the English speaking mono lingual we have a person that only speaks the English language he is only a custom to making the sounds of the English language. The English also for different languages is going to fortunately is limited. The what that you use your tongue is limited and the fact that you when it comes to conjugating words, you are changing words to adapt the fits sentences it is a way that is unique almost only to itself or others like it. It doesn't it borrows from Latin and it borrows from Greek and it borrows from many other languages but it doesn't keep their format and because that lack of format sometimes it is very it is much harder for English person speaking person to adapt to another language that is for another person to adapt for another language outside ..to another language that is not English. What do I mean if you speak French it is easier to adapt to Spanish. If you speak Arabic is easier to adapt to Prussian or ...or... but if you speak English the only language that it is easy to adapt to is English proper English. Kings English. Now another challenge to the English speaking monolingual is the fact that either he is in a situation where he thinks he can not speak another language because of his limitation or he may learn the language and not to be able to articulate to the fact correctly do to the fact that he is trying to make the language adapt to his English tongue. So adaptation is the key here. Adaptation I find is a very hard for the English speaking mono lingual. Thank you!
