Hi there! My name is Connie Hale. Thanks for joining me here at expertvillage.com. We’re learning how to tap dance today, and I’m just going to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 27 years old, I’ve been dancing for 25 of those 27 years, and I’ve been teaching for the past 11 years. I started out dancing from my mother, who has been teaching for 40 years, and my great-grandmother has been dancing before her. So it’s just been something that I was brought up into in the family, but dancing is a wonderful, wonderful form. It’s very energetic; it’s very exercising. I must say, it should be considered a sport in schools, because dancing is a sport. It’s a very hard thing to master. But anyway, I would like to say, number 1, if you take interest in any form of dance, whether it be hip-hop, whether it be jazz, you must take ballet. From ballet comes everything, because you can see technique shining through. But as far as myself, again, I’ve been dancing for 25 years now, I was a featured dancer in Walt Disney World for several years. I danced throughout Hershey Park, Knoebels, and all Northeastern Pennsylvania, in New York, down to Philadelphia, and now I’m here in San Antonio, Texas where I’m dancing at Cynergy Dance. You can view us on the web at www.cynergydance.com, or if you’re interested in taking dance to the next level, you can visit me at www.talentexplosion.net, where I’m a master judge for a major national dance competition. Again, it’s www.talentexplosion.net. Thanks for joining me and keep on dancing.
