Mazda 626 Water Pump Replacement: Replacing Timing Belt

Hello. My name is Jeff Fiffie. Today I'll be showing you how to remove and replace a water pump on a Mazda 626. Okay now you're going to need to replace your timing belt back in it its place. Of course you're going to have to refer to your repair manual for the proper timing sequences. Putting it back in place. Putting your cover back on. Then we have our mounts. This mount will have to be replaced back on there. Screw it back on there. Of course you want to refer to your owner manual or to your repair manual for when it comes to replacing the proper fluids back in your car. Antifreeze, any other tips that you would need you will refer to your repair manual which you can get from your auto repair store. After you start the vehicle you want to drop to the ground and look for any leaks coming from your pump. If your pump is leaking then you want to shut the engine off right away.
