Mazda 626 Water Pump Replacement: Using an Impact Wrench

Hello my name is Jeff Fiffie. Today I'll be showing you how to remove and replace a water pump on a Mazda six two six. On this impact wrench, there is a forward and reverse. Push it in for forward, push it from the other side for reverse. In this case we want to use forward. Attach your hose, your pressure hose, your air hose to your impact wrench. Place the socket onto the center bolt. Make sure it is on there snug. You want it on there snug, you don't want to strip it off. Make sure you have a firm grip on your impact wrench, and make sure it's centered on the pulley itself. Now apply pressure.
