Alright, the next type of disclaimer that I want to talk about, that can help you prevent communication problems, is credentialing. And what credentialing is, is making a statement that proves that you have the right to say what you're about to say because you've experienced it. An example would be, as someone who telecommutes, as someone who has been a teacher for 25 years, basically, I am saying to you, I have experienced what you're talking about. Again, we're trying to prevent problems, we're trying to prevent that person from saying, 'You're wrong, you don't know what you're talking about." Ah, but if I use a disclaimer, I'm sort of saying that I sort of do know what I'm talking about because I've stated as a telecommuter, as a former teacher, as an ambassador, as a chamber member, whatever it is, you are giving yourself the authority to make the statement.
