Brewing Green Tea

How do you prepare green tea. Green tea is one that does not give a lot of room to make mistakes. It will be the best cup of tea or the worst cup of tea you can make. For green tea temperatures is very important. A thermometer is recommended or if you don't have that and you boil water, let it cool down a bit for about five minutes or add a splash of cold water. This will make your cup of tea so much better. Green teas are not fully processed, so the leaves still are living in a sense. So what you want to do is not kill the nutrients that the green tea have. So you don't want to cook them, imagine broccoli boil it too long it's going to turn brown. You don't want to do that. Another thing that's important for green tea is time. Use a timer or set a clock on your microwave, but always keep track that green tea should be brewed at three to five minutes not to go over that. For stronger green tea add more tea leaves instead of letting it sit for five, ten, twenty minutes. Because unlike teas in a bag the loose leaf teas are from the top part of the tea plant, has a lot of flavors and nutrients and what you don't want to do is over steep it and producing a bad cup of tea.
