So what's the difference between Chinese green tea and Japanese green tea. Outside of their love for tea, and they produce a great amount of tea, green tea. They don't, they are not similar in any other ways. In Japan, teas are made from beginning to end mainly by machines. In China, teas are made from beginning to end by hand. The reason why is that in China, there are thousands of varieties of green. And it's all because of the various artisans, tea artisans. They take their time to shape and manipulate the various styles of green tea. Thus this is actually one of my favorite teas, because it's limitless. There are thousands and thousands of styles of greens and they change all the time. Based on rainfall, and the weather that year as well as the style of that leaf, how that changes and when that leaf is picked. That's why I love green tea so much. And it's lighter and not so much caffeine. For the Japanese however, it has one basic style of tea which is the sentia style tea. And from that type of tea, they move on to make other types by, A) roasting it, B) adding some spice kernels, or what they also do is different seasons that it's picked it's called different types of teas.
