Alright, now I'm installing the rear shock or the new rear shock. The installation for the shock is pretty simple, it's two bolts on the top, one bolt on the bottom. And it goes for the same as front and rear. To make it easier I use the jack stand still to lift up the axle. So you don't have to lift it up yourself. My whole motto is work smarter not harder. Now hold the bolts in, tighten it up and you are good to go. Note- last thing, for the rear leaf spring bolts, you do not tighten, you have the leaf spring bolt for the shackle or the front. You do not tighten that until the vehicle is lowered on the ground, otherwise the suspension will bind because it's in the air. The suspension is not loaded so you need to have the vehicle on the ground, with the vehicle weight on the suspension before tightening it. And that is how you install a shock.
great video! good tips. little better lighting would help...there has to be a shop light sittin' around there somewhere, no?
